《唐吉訶德》芭蕾舞劇是結合了西班牙民間舞蹈和高雅文化的表演舞蹈。經歷數世紀融會後達到頂峰之作。法國編舞大師佩蒂巴，從西班牙作家塞萬提斯的同名浪漫名著汲取靈感，再聯同奧地利作曲家明庫斯創作而成，於1869年在莫斯科首演。在劇中貧窮理髮師巴西里奧最終排除萬難成功迎娶了酒館東主千金琪蒂，並為唐吉訶德滑稽的冒險旅程添上豐富色彩，當然更少不了唐吉訶德攻擊風車的經典情節。
