西塔琴演奏家阿尼爾．辛格將演出多首北印度興都斯坦古典樂曲，透過有如天籟的空靈音樂，讓觀眾洗滌心靈。
演奏會上半場以傳統拉格調式為主，辛格將按當下的感受、情緒和氣氛，以拉格的特定結構為基礎，即興彈奏兩首樂曲。下半場辛格則會演奏多首印度輕古典樂曲 — Dhun。Dhun多為輕快的短曲，音階和節奏變化多樣，能展示北印度古典音樂的多元面向。演奏會壓軸辛格將彈奏一首西孟加拉邦的古老船歌，讓觀眾感受印度民族風格及特色。
Sitar performer Anil Singh will perform Hindustani classical music from northern India, nourishing the audiences’ hearts through the ethereal sounds.
The first half of the recital focuses on Indian classical raga. Based on the framework of the ragas, Singh will improvise according to his feelings, mood and the vibes at the very moment. In the second half of the recital, Singh will showcase the variety of Hindustani classical music by performing dhuns, a semi-classical form of Indian music. Dhuns are short pieces with a large variety of pitches and rhythms being used. As the finale of the recital, Singh will play an old river song from West Bengal, offering the audiences an experience of a regional Indian style and genre.
