Issue 019 - 場主的話 Words from the Founder

2019年轉眼間便過去，邁向2020年， 又會是一個怎麼樣的新時代？表演場 於3月出版第一期《表演場雙週刊》， 於10月開始改為月刊，希望令內容更 加豐富及更迎合讀者和藝文單位的需 要，共出版了十八期。而由12月開 始，雜誌的內容同時以電子通訊方 式，利用電郵直接送到香港及海外藝 文朋友的面前，兼顧線上及線下的接 觸面。

過去半年，對香港人來說，是重新思 考人生意義與價值的時間。因此，今 期表演場以「重新出發」為主題，訪 問了兩位全職藝文工作者，再加上我 自己的分享，說說如何由被看為有保 障的商界，走進充滿挑戰的藝術界， 重新定義工作的目標，實現理想。

Time flies. 2019 was gone in the blink of an eye. We launched The Art Venue Bi-weekly in March 2019 and revamped it as a monthly magazine in October 2019 to strengthen the content and to better suit the needs of readers and performing arts groups. Stepping into 2020, what will it be like?

We are facing a new meaning of life. In the cover story of this issue, we interviewed three arts practitioners who used to work for the commercial sector. We asked them about their career in the arts. Wishing you a peaceful 2020!
