韋恩・麥葛萊格舞團 ─ 我的基因舞譜 Company Wayne McGregor’s Autobiography

由享譽國際的英國編舞家兼舞台導演 韋恩・麥葛萊格 (Wayne McGregor) 創作的《我的基因舞譜》，將在2020年 1月於西九文化區自由空間作亞洲首演。 作品靈感源自韋恩・麥葛萊格對自己的基 因組、以及人類DNA當中23對染色體排 列的演繹。勾畫自麥葛萊格一生對科學及 科技的迷戀，他專注地讓肢體化身成人生 檔案庫，以此探索自我、生命、寫作等 範圍，折射出可堪回首的過往及變幻莫測 的未來。

自2017年10月於倫敦沙德勒之井 (Sadler’s Wells) 劇院發表後，《我的基 因舞譜》已贏得多項殊榮，包括意大利舞 蹈雜誌《Danza & Danza》頒發的最佳 當代舞蹈演出大獎；以及美國 The Charles and Joan Gross Family Foundation 頒發的 Gross Family Prize 2018大獎，表揚麥葛萊格與製作人Jlin在 舞蹈和音樂的傑出合作。

Premiering in Asia at Freespace in West Kowloon in January 2020, Autobiography is inspired by the sequencing of the world-renowned British choreographer and director Wayne McGregor’s own genome and the 23 pairs of chromosomes that contain the human DNA. Drawing from his life-long fascination with science and technology, McGregor focuses on the body as an archive, and explores aspects of self, life, writing, refracting both remembered pasts and speculative futures.

Since its debut at Sadler’s Wells in October 2017, Autobiography has won several awards including Best Contemporary Dance Performance from Danza & Danza Magazine Awards; and The Gross Family Prize 2018, awarded to McGregor and composer and producer Jlin (music) in recognition of their outstanding collaboration between dance and music.

Born in 1970, Wayne McGregor CBE is a multi-award-winning British choreographer and director, internationally renowned for trailblazing innovations in performance that have radically redefined dance in the modern era.
