場主的話
今期是《表演場》轉型成季刊的第二 期，為求令雜誌內容更豐富，以及為讀 者帶來更多有趣的表演藝術資訊及內 容，新增了《談音樂》及《談戲劇》兩 個專欄。今年的《談音樂》，找來了著 名填詞人岑偉宗先生撰文;而《談戲 劇》，就有對日本劇場文化非常熟識的 愛麗絲劇場實驗室藝術總監陳恆輝執 筆。希 望 大 家 喜 歡。
台灣社會正面對著疫情帶來的挑戰。訪 問臺中歌劇院藝術總監邱媛的時候， 台灣劇場都正常營運，而且沒有任何入 場人數限制。可是，疫情突然於五月下 旬來襲，所有活動必須停止，重擊表演 藝術行業。究竟台灣何時才能重開劇 場?仍然是未知數。
場主希望疫情快過，世界各地的劇場重 開，生活回復正常，人們再享受自由帶 來的幸福。

Words from the Founder
This is the 2nd issue of The Art Venue ever since it switched to being a quarterly magazine. In order to make the contents richer and bring readers more interesting performing arts news and info, two new columns, “On Music” and “On Drama”, have been added. I hope readers will find them to their liking.
Taiwanese society is facing the challenge brought by the pandemic. At the time of our interview with Joyce Chiou, General and Artistic Director of the Taichung Theater, everything was normal. But when the pandemic suddenly hit in late May, all events had to be suspended. It was a huge blow to the performing arts. No one knows when theaters can reopen in Taiwan.
The Editor hopes that the pandemic will soon be over, theaters around the world will reopen and life will return to normal, so that everyone can experience the happiness brought by freedom again.
